Eileen M. Sullivan-Marx, PhD, RN, FAAN
Eileen Sullivan-Marx, PhD, RN, FAAN, is Dean Emerita & Professor Emerita of New York University Rory Meyers College of Nursing. She holds the title as Professor Emerita of Scholarly Practice and Clinician-Educator at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She is a Past President and a Living Legend in the prestigious American Academy of Nursing. Dr. Sullivan-Marx is a renowned nursing leader, educator, and clinician known for her research and innovative interprofessional approaches to primary care and for her creative redesign of payment structures for nurses, particularly through the Medicaid and Medicare programs. Currently, she hosts The Nurse Practitioner Show on SiriusXM’s Doctor Radio Program. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, the Gerontological Society of America, the Leadership for Advancement of Diversity in Nursing, and the New York Academy of Medicine. Dr. Sullivan-Marx is an alumna of the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and the University of Rochester School of Nursing.
